winter break retail therapy
This is all of the stuff I’ve accumulated in the month of January. Post-Christmas shopping is the best kind of shopping. I might have went too hard on my splurging, but I never have time to shop during the school semester, so it’s all very justified. At least in my own head, hahah.
Stuff from YesStyle! Maybe I’ve just been really lucky with this online ordering thing, but I’ve never ever had a problem with anything I’ve received from a YesStyle order. After being anxious for three weeks while my order was being processed and shipped, I was so relieved to find everything was how I pictured it to be, not a single disappointment.
A fairly boring order from F21, but I love the skirt to death, particularly because of the print and color. It’s so ethnic and tribal! Haha, the question now is how to incorporate this into my winter wardrobe. Hmm…
This is probably the most skincare products I’ve bought at one time. I’m not really one to buy high- end cleansers, but the Jan Marini cleanser was recommended to by a beautician so I went for it, and after using it a couple times, I think I like it. It makes my face feel really refreshed and clean, especially because of th slight tingling sensation it produces. The other face product I’m loving is BB cream. This is my first time using it. The consistency is like a tint moisturizer, but the coverage is amazing, like foundation + concealer all in one.
(Backstory: I went on Missha’s website and not only were the BB creams on sale, but they were offering the BB cream sampler deluxe boxes for free too!)
New brown boots! You know that song you fall in love with and put on constant repeat until finally one day, you end up detesting it? I think these boots will be that song. I’ve been wearing them everywhere, but I can’t even help it… they coordinate so well with everything! Oh well. I’d been on the brown boot hunt forever, so it felt nice to finally get a pair.
Winter moccasins! These shoes serve me dual purposes: outdoor shoes, indoor slippers. I was really close to getting the UGG Australia ‘Dakota’ slippers, but I’m really glad I waited because these are a lot cheaper. Like, A LOT cheaper. Not sure how the Ugg slippers feel in comparison, but the Minnetonka’s are incredibly warm, comfortable, and is of decent quality. That’s all you really need in a pair of winter shoes, right?
